What to know about Umbrella Night and your spot for the season…
Umbrella night is the most anticipated night of the year!
Members of Brookside have the privilege to select their 10′ x 10′ spot (table location) for the season on Saturday of Memorial Day Weekend. This spot is yours for the entire season and where you’ll keep your personal belongings. Spots are taken on a first come, first served basis and cannot be changed once selected.
This year, we are offering the opportunity for bonded members to participate in a raffle for early selection of umbrella spots for a $20 donation. Each family that participates will be randomly entered and assigned a number via an online raffle picker. You will be assigned a time to arrive on Friday night in the order you were picked starting at 5:00 PM to select your spot.
Forms will be posted closer to the start of the season and accepted through midnight on 5/23. Times will be assigned and sent out on the morning of 5/24 (Umbrella Night).
Requirements for your spot for the season
Members have the benefit of leaving their table, chairs and umbrella in their selected spot all season.
Tables can be square or round and cannot exceed 48″ x 48″ and cannot impede on your neighbors’ spots. No Glass Table Tops!
Umbrellas cannot exceed 8 feet in diameter.
Members are permitted to bring food and beverages (including alcohol) to the club at all times. Glass containers are not permitted anywhere on the pool property. The snack bar will also be available to members and guests to purchase food and non-alcoholic beverages. Cash or credit ($5 minimum) are accepted.
